The White Fern | original

A piece I started during my friend Alyssa and my virtual floral design workshop, this painting is inspired by my newest obsession with the stunning and oh so delicate, preserved white ferns she included in our floral wall hanging kits. 

I shared recently in the release of my Dala Animal Painted Sculptures how I am always drawn to paint what I intuit. And as it turns out the fern could not be a better symbol for right now, for many reasons universally and for me personally + professionally along with the most obvious of which is our current season, the close of this year and fresh start to a new one.
